The Speaker administered oath of membership of the Assembly to the following newly Members-elect: Mr Falak Sher Awan (PP-22), Mr Adnan Afzal Chattha (PP-36), Mr Saeed Akbar Khan (PP-93), Rana Afzaal Hussain (PP-139), Mr Muhammad Riaz (PP-147), Mr Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui (PP-149), Mr Muhammad Nawaz Chohan (PP-62), Mr Rashid Minhas (PP-164), Mr Mumtaz Ali (PP-266) and Mr Ali Ahmad Khan Leghari (PP-290). The members then signed the Roll of Members. |

GOVERNMENT BUSINESS
DISCUSSION ON PROCUREMENT OF WHEAT

After taking the sense of the House, the Speaker suspended the rules and allowed general discussion on wheat procurement instead of agenda items (laying of reports and pre-budget discussion). Mr Ahmad Khan, Leader of Opposition, initiated the discussion. Other participants included Mr Shahbaz Ahmad, Mr Tariq Subhani, Mr Junaid Afzal Sahi, Muhammad Asghar Hayat Haraj, Syed Ali Haider Gillani, Mr Waqas Mahmood Maan, Mr Muhammad Hassaan Riaz, Ms Rukhsana Kausar, Mr Ahsan Raza, Ms Shagufta Faisal, Mr Ahmad Mujtaba Chaudhary, Ch Muhammad Ejaz Shafi, Mr Muhammad Ilyas, Syed Riffat Mehmood, and Mr Imtiaz Mahmood. |
