Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad son of Mehr Mushtaq Ahmad was born on September 8, 1957 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of B.Com. in 1982 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A businessman, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008.
